Mr Asinor said the third Ghana SME Expo was designed for anyone starting a business or expanding a business in Ghana, adding that with a conference, exhibition, one-to-one advice and networking events, it was the perfect opportunity to find all the tools and information to start and develop a profitable and sustainable business in Ghana.

The event, he said, had been crafted with the needs of the small business in mind and that issues of acquisition of capital and SME funding had been given prominence with a special SME Finance Day set aside for delegates to meet SME loan providers, venture capitalists, micro finance companies, local and foreign institutions.

Mr Asinor said organisers of the event would continue to provide the platform to enhance values to all SMEs and entrepreneurs in a wide spectrum of industries to achieve its business objectives.

He said after successfully hosting the event on two occasions, many SMEs who participated had noticed growth and development

Opening the conference, Prof John Kobla Aheto, CEO of Aheto & Associates Limited, noted that SMEs represented 85% to 90% of total business operations anywhere in the world, 60% of total employment and not less than 40% of Gross
